É uma banda de metal gótico italiana. O nome da banda em italiano Domina Noctis, e traduzido para o português é "Senhora da Noite", e consequentemente remete ao símbolo feminino e místico da LUA. 

O grupo formado em 2001, logo torneou-se notável no cenário undergroud italiano, participando de diversos eventos como o l'Italian Gothic Fest (Milano, 2006), Dark Fest (Modena, 2007), Ultimate Gothic Night (Gorizia, 2007) e como banda convidada, dividindo o palco com grandes grupos musicais como  Labyrinth, Macbeth, Theatres des vampires, Lord Vampyr's Shadowsreign e Dark Princess.
